GSC Sitemaps: 1 Error, 1 Could not be fetched

    Hello,

    we are having the following problem:

    Our “index” is succesfully fetched by GSC. However “page” and “post” cannot be fetched.

    For “page” it states: not supported data format

    For “post” is states: cannot be fetched

    We looked through various of your tickets and tried all the “tricks”, excluded it from caching, flushed cache etc but GSC will still not accept it. Also checked if it can be read, and yes it can be.

    In one of your faqs it states that “changing the url” can do magic. However, in another faq it states, that your plugin cannot change the URL or the sitemap path.

    What can be done to fix the problem?

    The sitemap of your site doesn’t seem to be coming from our plugin. Please follow this guide to check if some other plugin is causing the issue with the generation of our sitemap: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Yes it comes from your plugin.

    We hid mostly everything with Hide my WP. We deactivated the plugin now, to test if it works now. However it shows the exact same results.

    Hello,

    Please add this filter to your website:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

    Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:

    Once done, clear your website cache, remove all the sitemaps from the Search Console and submit sitemap_index.xml
