Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I have checked your robots.txt and it looks like you are using both Jetpack and Rank Math sitemaps.
Please disable the Jetpack sitemap and remove it from the robots.txt file.
Also, delete all sitemaps from the search console and submit only the sitemap_index.xml, and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap.
This should resolve the issue.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello Anas, thanks for replying!
Indeed the Jetpack sitemaps was enabled by mistake, and I’ve already disabled it.
I waited to see if the Google Merchant Center would now crawl the product images but it appears that it is still not being able to do so.
Any other ideas that you think might be the issue?
Thank you again for your support!
Hello,
Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.
Could you please go through these requirements in the link below to make sure your images meet each of them?
https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324350
If they are all good, please go through the instructions here to check and ensure the products have the required image link along with the additional link: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl=en#zippy=
You can also check if hotlink protection is enabled on your server by getting in touch with your web host.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
Hello,
I was contacting Gooogle Support once again and now they are asking me to check if I have correct image_link and additional_image_link attributes on my website images, as described in this topic: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl=en.
When I check the Rank Math code inserted into my website it looks all right. Also, when I inspect the product URL using Search Console it also looks all right (the image URL even shows up in the results).
I’m not a developer so this is really driving me crazy. Please help!
Hello,
Thank you for following up, and sorry for the delay.
Could you please download a list (.csv) of all affected products for this particular issue following the instructions shown here – https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6240184?hl#zippy=%2Cstep-provide-images-that-conform-to-the-image-requirements%2Cstep-see-the-affected-products.
You can then share the CSV file with us in the sensitive data section so we can check the details from our end.

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.
Thank you, and looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
As a further troubleshooting step, could you please remove the WooCommerce Product schema from a product and see if that specific product is crawled and accepted by Google Merchant Center?
Looking forward to hearing back from you with your findings.
Hello Miguel,
Okay, I just removed the WooCommerce Schema from a product and requested Google to re-index the URL, however this may take a few days to process according to Google (up to a few weeks actually).
I will get back here when I have more news.
Best regards,
Tiago.
