Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with Google showing a different meta description for your website. It can be frustrating when search engines choose to display alternative snippets.
Based on the information you provided, it seems like you have already gone through the checklist provided in our article about different meta titles and descriptions. If everything looks correct on your end but Google still displays a different meta description, there might be other factors at play.
Google can sometimes generate its own snippets based on what it deems most relevant to the user’s search query. This can lead to unexpected results, such as using footer information as the meta description for the homepage.
If you have followed all the steps in the checklist and the issue persists, I recommend monitoring the situation for some time as Google may re-crawl and re-index your pages, potentially reflecting the correct meta descriptions.
If the problem continues, please reply to this ticket, and one of our human agents will assist you further.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.
Best regards.

Thank you for the quick reply, i have waited over a month but the problem remains throughout the whole website, i have updated some parts of the text to have the page re-indexed but the problem remains.
Every page has an H1 titel and a description directly underneath it, the home page shows the footer info on google and all subpages skips the “H1 titel and description” part and create an janky snippet of the H2 titels and description underneath which is not as optimized as the one underneath the H1.
What do you think is the problem?
