Hello,
We apologize for the issues you are facing with your Google Search Console and indexing pages. Thank you for outlining your observations and questions clearly. Let’s address each of your concerns:
1. Indexing Issues
- Action on Non-Indexed Pages: If some pages are not indexed, it can take time for Google to discover and index them, especially if they are new. However, submitting a sitemap can help expedite the process. You can submit your sitemap through Google Search Console to ensure that Google is aware of all your pages.
2. Redirection Observations
- www vs. non-www URLs: It is common for websites to have either www or non-www versions indexed. If WordPress is redirecting from the www version to the non-www version, it may take time for Google to deindex the www URLs. Ensure that your preferred version is set in your Google Search Console settings.
3. SEO Concerns
- Redirection and Duplicate Content: Properly set up redirections are crucial to avoid duplicate content issues and loss of link equity. If redirections are missing, it could lead to these problems. Make sure that all variations of your URLs (www and non-www) redirect correctly to your preferred version.
4. Unexpected "Noindex" Tags
- Automatic Noindex Tags: WordPress can apply noindex tags automatically based on certain settings or plugins. Check your settings in WordPress and any SEO plugins you may be using to ensure that noindex tags are not being applied unintentionally. You can also use the Rank Math plugin to manage these settings effectively.
5. Crawled but Not Indexed
- Crawled – Currently Not Indexed: This status indicates that Google has crawled the page but has not indexed it yet. If the pages display a folder-like structure, it might be due to how the content is structured or served. Ensure that these pages have unique, valuable content and are linked internally from other pages on your site.
6. HTTPS URLs in GSC
- Limited HTTPS URLs: Seeing only a few URLs in the HTTPS section of GSC can be normal, especially if it’s a new setup or if not all pages are being crawled yet. Over time, as Google crawls your site more thoroughly, you should see more URLs listed there.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
1. If the pages are valid and valuable, submitting a sitemap in GSC can help expedite indexing. Google may take some time to index new or updated pages, but submitting them via the URL Inspection Tool in GSC can also speed up the process.
2. If the redirections are set correctly (301 redirects), Google will eventually deindex the old URLs and prioritize the canonicalized versions. Keep monitoring GSC for any issues.
3. Missing or improper redirections could potentially cause duplicate content issues. Ensure all non-preferred versions (e.g., www vs non-www) are consistently redirected to your preferred format using a 301 redirect.
4. “noindex” may be automatically added to certain pages (e.g., paginated or admin-related pages). You can share the URLs of the concerned pages with us.
5. Pages marked as “Crawled – currently not indexed” might lack sufficient quality signals for indexing. Review those pages for thin content, errors, or duplicate issues, and ensure they are linked internally. You can refer to this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/crawled-currently-not-indexed/
6. If your GSC property is new, it may take time for Google to fully populate HTTPS URLs. Ensure your SSL setup is correctly redirecting all HTTP traffic to HTTPS and your sitemap contains only HTTPS URLs.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you.
