    Hello, I hope you are well and thank you for your wonderful plugin.

    I have a question, maybe it’s very basic, I’m creating my website, I used your plugin and got good scores for SEO.

    However, I checked the domain in the Google search console through the “Domain”. With this option is your plugin connected to the search console? Or do I need to check by the URL Prefix and synchronize in the plugin with googles services?

    If it only works with the Prefix URL, what is the link I put? With http, https or just the domain?

    On the other hand, should i need delete the version of “Domain” in the Google search console?

    When verifying your website on Google Search Console using Rank Math, you can choose to verify it either by the domain or URL Prefix method. If you have already verified your domain in Google Search Console, you can connect it to Rank Math by selecting the corresponding URL property in the plugin.

    To connect your website to the Google Search Console in Rank Math, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. If you haven’t verified your website property in Google Search Console, Rank Math can do this automatically for you.
    3. Under the Site drop-down list, choose the corresponding URL property for a smooth Analytics experience.
    4. Select your Site and Country from the drop-down lists.
    5. Click on the Save Changes button to apply the settings.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    You can follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property:

    The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.

    One last question: I will opt for this version, so can I delete the domain verification in the Google search console that I did previously? Won’t it affect anything on the website? Thank you

    Hello,

    You really do not have to remove the domain property as having both properties in your Google Search Console should not cause any issues.

    If however, having both will cause you confusion you can simply remove the domain property and focus on the URL-Prefix property.
