    Dear Rank Math Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an urgent issue with the Rank Math plugin on our website, Jpjobco (https://jpjobco.com), which uses WordPress.

Previously, our Google Search Console integration with Rank Math was functioning correctly, displaying a green status. However, the status has recently changed to a red dot, indicating a connection issue. Despite our efforts to troubleshoot—such as re-authenticating the Google account, verifying the Search Console property, checking API permissions, and ensuring the plugin is up to date—the issue persists.

Here are the details of our setup:
    – Website: Jpjobco (https://jpjobco.com)
    – WordPress Version: [ WordPress version: 6.8.1 ]
    – Rank Math Version: [ Rank Math version: 1.0.246 ]
    – Google Search Console Property: [Insert Search Console property URL]
    – Steps Taken:
    1. Re-authenticated Google account in Rank Math settings.
    2. Verified site ownership in Google Search Console.
    3. Cleared cache and checked for plugin conflicts.
    4. Ensured no firewall or server restrictions are blocking API calls.
    5. Reinstalled the Rank Math plugin.

Could you please assist in diagnosing and resolving this issue? We rely heavily on Rank Math for SEO optimization and need to restore the Search Console integration as soon as possible. If additional information or access is required, we are happy to provide it.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Google Search Console integration on your website, Jpjobco. It seems that there might be a glitch in the connection between Rank Math and your Google account.

To troubleshoot this issue, we recommend the following steps:

    1. Test Connections: Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics and click on the Test Connections option at the top right. This will help validate the existing connections. A green signal indicates a valid connection, while a red signal indicates an issue.
      Test connections

    2. Reconnect Your Google Account: If you see a red signal, try reconnecting your Google account by following the prompts in the same settings area.
      Reconnect Search Console connection

    3. Check for Domain Property: Ensure that you are using a URL-prefix property in Google Search Console, as our plugin does not fully support domain properties. If you are using a domain property, please reconnect your Google account and switch to a URL-prefix property.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket with any error logs you may have, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please follow this guide to remove the Rank Math App from your Google account: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/#expired-google-oauth-token

After that, please reconnect your Google account from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics with all the required permissions and see if that works for you.

Also, please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
