Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Discovered URLs 0 that you see in Google Search Console just means that the URLs in the sitemap were already found by Googlebot by other means, instead of via the sitemap. For example, Googlebot may have found the URLs from internal links or possibly from links on another site.
Hope that helps.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you for your prompt feedback.
But how can I fix this issue? The issue is that the other URLS are crawlt but not indexed.
From my perspective all of my URLs should be discovered in the sitemap.
Should I upload a different sitemap or update it?
Thank you very much for your effort!
Hello,
I checked your sitemap page and it seems to be loading just fine already.
Can you please follow these steps?
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp
2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
3. After that, remove all your sitemaps from your GSC and resubmit only the primary sitemap (sitemap_index.xml).
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Hi Jeremy,
I have done this step by step. And as a last point I deleted my sitemap in GEO and insert it again.
How long does it usually take that there are discovered URLs shown?
Thank you.
I see in my sitemap that not all pages are latest updated at 13/04/2022.

Could this cause any problems for Google Search Console?
Hello,
Please add this filter in the theme’s functions.php file:
add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/#functions-php-file
Once done, clear your website cache and check the sitemap.
Let us know if the issue persists.
We are here to assist you.
Hello Anas,
does it really matter in which line I insert the filter in the functions.php file?
Should be at the start or at the end or in a function itself?
Thank you very much!
Your support is much appreciated.
Hello,
You should add the filter at the bottom of the functions.php file.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
