    Hi There,

We received a notice from Google Search Console with an error related to the Schema Markup.

After reviewing the code output, I can see an error in the Event Schema code generated by Rank Math. (please see attached screenshot).

    Event Schema Error

    Error code:
    "priceCurrency":"USD\t\t\t\t\t\t\tclass=\t\t\t\t\t\t\tclass=\t\t\t\t\t\t\tclass=\t\t\t\t\t\t\tclass="

    Correct code:
    "priceCurrency":"USD"

Can you suggest a solution to help resolve this error?

    Thank you

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Could you please share the affected URL so we can check as well?

Meanwhile, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), this can be caused by conflicting plugin/theme on your site.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Let us know how this goes.

    Hi There,

Here is a link to the affected page: https://himalayaninstitute.org/event/hi-members-homecoming-retreat-jul-2024/

The Theme and Plugin are updated to latest verions.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello,

Our plugin doesn’t seem to add the schema on the page. Our plugin adds the Schema within the script tag with the rank-math-schema class. The page you have shared doesn’t have that tag:

Another plugin is adding the Schema, and you should follow the guide shared by my colleague to find that plugin. If you want us to take a closer look, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hi Jaideep,

Thank you for your help. I can now see the Schema is coming from the Events Calendar Pro Plugin. I will contact them for support.

    One additional question…

If we were to disable the Schema coming from Events Calendar Pro, would Rank Math add Event Scheme to those pages? Is there a direct integration with this plugin?

    Thanks again for your time.

    Hello,

No, you may need to fetch the data from that plugin and create custom variables by following the same structure we have on this example filter for this purpose: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#add-extra-variables

If that data is saved in the postmeta table for each page and added as a custom field you can just use the following variable: https://rankmath.com/kb/variables-in-seo-title-description/#num-39-custom-field-advanced

You may also gather more information from the developers of that plugin on how that data is saved into the database and how you could retrieve it with PHP, for the creation of the custom variables.

Once done, you can use the event schema from Rank Math using the data you have entered in that plugin.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,
