I was really excited to use your service especially the content ai, but google search console is not reading the sitemap. I will have to deactivate your plugin if I can’t get it to read.

Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with Google Search Console not reading your sitemap. Thank you for raising this concern. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and fix the sitemap issue:
1. Validate Your Sitemap
Make sure your sitemap is correctly configured. You can validate it using the Validate XML Sitemap tool. Enter your sitemap URL and click VALIDATE SITEMAP. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.
2. Ensure the Sitemap is Located in the Root Folder
Your sitemap should be located in the root folder of your WordPress installation. The URL should look like this:
https://yourdomainname.com/sitemap_index.xml
3. Check Indexing Settings
Ensure that your posts are set to index. Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and make sure the Index checkbox is enabled in the Robots Meta settings.
4. Check Sitemap Module in Rank Math
Make sure that the Sitemap module is enabled in Rank Math. You can check this by going to Rank Math SEO → Dashboard and looking for the Sitemap module.
If you’ve followed these steps and are still having issues, please reply to this ticket with your site URL, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further. We want to ensure that you can fully utilize our services without any interruptions.
Thank you for your patience!

I did all of these already
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused.
We checked the sitemap and they are opening and validating fine.
Please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you.
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/3. If the above steps don’t seem to work, kindly apply the following filter to your site.
add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
Here’s how you can add filter/hook to your WordPress site:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/Once done, clear your website cache, remove all the submitted sitemaps, and resubmit only the index sitemap in the Search Console.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
If I give you admin privilege can you do this for me? New site, no traffic yet, and I’m an owner trying to navigate.
Hello,
The username you shared is not registered on your WordPress dashboard.
However, your site is fairly new and you don’t have many posts and pages yet.
Please follow the steps in this guide to submit your sitemap properly:
https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/Once done, give Google some time to crawl your site and wait for the “Last read” column to be updated with a date value.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I have followed every tutorial and tried everything even deactivating the plugin, but then my htaccess file has literally disappeared. I had edited per one of the tutorials and now it is showing gone, even resetting the permalinks didn’t fix. I am desperate. Google search console will not read any of my sitemaps. I have fixed and attached the user and password. I am hoping someone can hop in and fix. I can give google search console login as well. I will gladly upgrade to content ai once I can get on google. Thank you.

Same, site map cannot be read.
So seems like there is a no index tag on the x-robots. And this is being placed on by your plugin. Can you help me remove it? I even tried editing the htaccess file
