Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with connecting Google Search Console in Rank Math. It seems that even though you’ve verified your site with the HTML tag, the property might not be appearing in the dropdown due to a few reasons.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:
- Ensure Proper Verification: Double-check that your website is properly verified in Google Search Console. Sometimes, it may take a little while for the verification to reflect in Rank Math.
- Refresh the Page: After verifying, try refreshing the Rank Math settings page to see if the property appears.
- Check Permissions: Make sure that the Google account you are using in Rank Math has access to the Google Search Console property.
- Enable Analytics Module: Ensure that the Analytics module is enabled in Rank Math by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard.
- Use a Compatible Browser: If you are still having issues, try using a Chromium-based browser like Google Chrome to access the settings.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

I had similar issue with one of mine client website. I removed Rank Math from their google account and reconnect it.
Hello,
This issue usually happens when you verify your site using the domain property (sc:domain
).
Please verify using the URL prefix method and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTPS, www).

You can follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property:
https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#num-1-1-open-google-search-console
The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console, as we submit it automatically for you.
In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module, such as the IndexStatus.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you, it looks like pressing “Disconnect” and then trying the connection again worked to resolve the issue. I had tried using the “Reconnect” button a couple times first, but that did not work.
Hello,
We’re glad that this issue is already resolved.
If you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime so we can assist you further.
