Google Search Console Error – NoIndex

    Hello,

    I am having some issues with ElementsKit.

    I am adding two URLs in the Sensitive Data section. Google is telling me that they are marked as NoIndex, which is as it should be, but they are still in the sitemap. How do I fix this? Perhaps I should exclude them from the sitemap? Here’s what Google Search Console has to say about them:

    Coverage Issue:

    Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’
    First detected: 21/09/2021
    Status: Error

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I can check that your sitemap is returning a 404 error. Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    After that please remove all previously submitted sitemaps from your GSC and resubmit your main sitemap(sitemap_index.xml) and wait for Google to crawl it again.

    That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.
