Google not showing the snippet created in rank math

    Hi, i’ve created a snippet in rank math however, google shows an entirely different one. I’m with Flothemes and they have suggested i talk to you. Can you help? Google is showing the first few words from the first paragraph on my site, but that is not what i’ve chosen in the rank math snippet.

    Hi, my home page is http://www.tanlijoyweddings.co.uk If i google cotswold wedding photographer, my home page comes up but the snippet used by Google is not the one i have created in Rank math.

    I checked the page’s source code, and the correct meta description is showing there. You can also verify that using this tool:
    https://heymeta.com

    Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better. In this case, the best you can do is optimize your meta description to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.
