I’ve a big issue. Google is not updating my information like fragments, titles etc. I updated my information and have a score of 100/100 on my homepage. Still if I check Google search engine, nothing updated well. I can’t find my website with the updated keywords (not top 100) and also the fragments are not updated.
The website is findable in Google if I search directly on my website name (without the keywords). SEO actions will take time so I waited already more than 3 a 4 months without updating my SEO. Still nothing updated in Google. Sitemap is checked as well and looks ok.
SEO looks like doesn’t work for me at all. Please could you help me out because I am desperate.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the issues you are facing with Google not updating your information like fragments and titles despite having a 100/100 score on your homepage. It can be frustrating when changes don’t reflect in search results as expected.
Based on the information provided, it seems like you have already waited for more than 3 to 4 months without seeing any updates in Google search results. Since SEO actions can indeed take time to show results, it’s essential to be patient.
However, if you are still experiencing these issues after such a long period, I recommend taking the following steps:
-
Request Google to Reindex Your Homepage: You can navigate to the Google Search Console, enter your homepage URL, and click on REQUEST INDEXING to inform Google of the update.
-
Check Google’s Cache Date: Verify when Google’s cache was last updated for your page by following the steps mentioned in this guide.
-
Update the Post/Page: Make further changes to optimize your SEO score and update your post/page. This may help trigger Google to re-crawl and re-index your content. You can refer to this tutorial for detailed instructions.
If after following these steps you still face issues, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly by clicking here. We are here to assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter for you.
Warm regards.

Thank you for reaching out. We understand how frustrating it can be when your website does not rank well despite all your best efforts. We’ll help you figure out how to resolve this issue.
After making changes to your website, you can use the Rank Math meta tag analyzer to ensure that your changes are showing up as expected.
See: https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/
After this, an option you have at your disposal is to use instant indexing to try and get your pages re-indexed in Google SERPs. We have shared a link to an article showing how you can use instant indexing.

Additionally, there are a few steps you can follow to try and rank higher for your chosen keywords.
- Google’s algorithms prioritize content that is high-quality, relevant, and provides value to users. Ensure that your content is well-written, comprehensive, and directly addresses the keywords you’re targeting. It’s not just about using the keywords, but also about providing valuable information that matches user intent.
- Even if your chosen keywords are not highly competitive, other websites might still have stronger backlink profiles, which can influence search rankings. Building high-quality backlinks to your content can improve its visibility in search results.
- Technical issues with your website, such as slow loading times, mobile-friendliness, and schema markup, can affect how well your content ranks. Make sure your website is optimized for technical SEO best practices.
- Google’s search algorithms are constantly evolving. Your content might have been affected by recent algorithm updates that changed the way content is ranked. Staying up to date with SEO trends and adapting your strategies accordingly is important.
Please refer to this guide to address that:
https://rankmath.com/kb/google-algorithm-updates/
https://rankmath.com/blog/google-algorithm-update-recovery/ - If you’re searching from a specific location, Google might be displaying localized results. Check if your content is ranking well for users in different geographic locations.
- Google search results can be personalized based on a user’s search history, location, and other factors. Try searching in an incognito or private browsing window to see if your content appears.
To make tracking your ranking for keywords on Google easier, you can use Rank Math’s Rank Tracker feature to track your keywords and their position on the Search Engine Result Page.
Rank Tracker can track the keyword performance of your selected keywords. You can enter the keywords in the Rank tracker, and the keyword performance will be monitored so that you can have a clear picture of which keywords are performing well as compared to the others. Read more about the Rank Tracker here https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-tracker/
SEO can be complex, and it’s not uncommon for fluctuations in rankings to occur. If the issue persists, you can conduct a major SEO audit on your website or the affected post: https://rankmath.com/blog/seo-audit/
We hope this helps.
Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions.
Thank you for your support.
I used meta tag analyzer and some updates were necessary. After that I implemented the google Indexing API. Unfortunately I waited for a couple of hours and nothing of the changed meta data is changed in Google search. I checked different pages of my website in Google and there are findable (without keywords) but the meta description is not updated. It’s really confusing, because it’s not only the ranking but also the (not) updated meta data.
Please let me know what I can change or try more?
Hello,
We’ve checked your website and we can see that Rank Math added the correct meta title and description on your homepage.
You can also check it by using https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/ and https://www.heymeta.com/
However, on SERPs, Google is not showing the correct meta title and description for your homepage. Nowadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta title and description for your search query result. Google may skip the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.
You can follow this URL for details on this issue:

https://www.searchenginejournal.com/why-google-rewrites-meta-descriptions/370452/Regarding the ranking, please note that ranking on Google depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization. You could have the perfect article and still struggle to break the top 10 in SERPs. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you:
1. Your website’s authority
2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.
3. How competitive the keyword is.
4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other guys ranking for that keyword have.
5. Your website’s crawlability.
6. Frequency of new content and content updates.
7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂 https://backlinko.com/google-ranking-factorsWe would recommend that you keep at it and work on acquiring more links to break into the top SERPs. Here are a few resources we think you will find useful while devising an SEO strategy.
