    Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your article about Google instant indexing – https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/.

On one site everything worked great. But on another one it does’t. The problem is – on this site I have a file youtube-api/src/Google/Client.php. So, I added my json file generated in my servicing account. When I create a post and click publish I get this critical error:

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 142 of the file plugins/yt-evolution/lib/youtube-api/src/Google/Client.php. Error message: Uncaught Google_Exception: Invalid client secret JSON file. in plugins/yt-evolution/lib/youtube-api/src/Google/Client.php:142

The json file generated in servicing account doesn’t have client secret line. Is there any way to solve this problem or I should contact the developer of the plugin which installed on my site?

    Best wishes,
    Alexander

  • Hello,

Thank you so much for getting in touch.

We would request you to go through the setup steps once again.

Please make sure you follow the instructions once again and religiously. Try to add the service account properly and cross check the settings. https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

This is a tried and tested method and we are certain these instructions work. They have worked for 1000s of users so it has to be an issue with your setup. It is possible that you missed a step or incorrectly chose some option.

Hope this helps you. Thank you

    Hello,

It seems that the other plugin (“YT Evolution”) is using the same Google API Library as our plugin, and that’s causing some kind of conflict issue on your site.

There might be some way to solve this though. Firstly, do you need the post auto-submit functionality, that sends the posts to Google’s API automatically? That is what seems to be causing the issue and if it’s not needed, you can turn it off. Then you can still submit posts manually from Rank Math > Instant Indexing (if that doesn’t result in the same error).

If that is not a solution for you, then what we could try is selectively loading the plugins – exclude the other plugin when it is not needed, using a “plugin manager” like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-organizer/

If that also doesn’t work, then please share your WP access details in the Sensitive Data field, and we will check if there’s anything that can be done to resolve this conflict issue.

    Thank you.
