Hi, I’m using your plugin on my WordPress site. I indexed all the needed pages and your plugin is easy and has a lot of function. Congrats! But I don’t understand, if I index the home page and it gives me a score of 83/100 why google have to index 404 pages in top of the results page instead the pages I indexed. How can I resolve this?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please share the URL of your website in the sensitive area section?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for that information.

I’ve checked your site on Google search results, and indeed there are some pages that are returning error 404 like sample page, uncategorized, booking.

In this case, you can redirect them to your homepage or relevant page using Rank Math’s redirection. Here’s a link on how to:

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:

Since they are already removed from your sitemap and they are returning 404, Google will eventually remove them on the search results pages. The 404 links displaying are just links from Google’s cache.

Once Google recrawls your sitemap, those will be removed as well on the search results pages.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
