Hey there!
I am having this issue across a whole bunch of my customer websites and I am struggling to figure this out.
Google is sometimes incorrectly indexing my meta titles set in RankMath, it is strange because it is not for every one of my pages – some are correct and some are wrong despite being the exact same! The best example is https://customcabinetrywa.com.au/
If you go to google and search “site:https://customcabinetrywa.com.au/” you will see results such as “Bathroom | Custom Cabinetry WA” This is correct but there are other results that use the incorrect separator and look like this “Laundry – Custom Cabinetry WA”
The source code shows the separator I have chosen for all of the pages but is only shown on a few on Google, the others are replaced with a -.
Any thoughts on this issue, this is happening to way too many of my sites. I don’t think it is too much to ask Google to have a customer separator so I am thinking that it is a technical issue.
Thanks,
Jordan.
