Google index Api metadat

    Rank Math free

So I’ve installed the google index api on a site I’m doing SEO on and was struggling to index quickly. All of the metadata was in another SEO plugin. So now these pages are indexing, but with basic metadata showing. So my question is do I have to change all of this data over to rankmath? As in you can’t read the metadata submitted to this other plugin (rhymes with toast).

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Instant Indexing plugin just submits the URL to Google for instant indexing. It has nothing to do with reading or submitting the metadata. Once the URL is submitted to Google, they will see the metadata when they crawl the page and will decide if they want to index the data set by you or something they find more suitable.

So if you want to try switching to Rank Math then you can follow this guide to import your data from Yoast to our plugin: https://rankmath.com/kb/yoast-seo-migration/

But Google should be able to see the correct data on the URLs submitted with Instant Indexing regardless of the SEO plugin you are using. If they decide to show something else then it is their choice and all you can do is optimize your SEO title and description and wait for them to decide to index it.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
