    Rank Math free

Hi, I’ve been using Rank Math for 2 weeks now, I have moved from Yoast SEO. I have a problem with a sitemap, my website has a total of 425 links, but google discovered only 325, and it stuck at that number, I always publish articles on my website, but Google does not update sitemap automatically, and even when I submit the sitemap multiple times it does not fix the problem. I cleared the cache, deactivated the plugin, and activate it again, nothing has changed. I tried another sitemap plugin, and it’s working perfectly, and Google discovered all the links, then I published a new post, and it added to google automatically in that time.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Once done, re-submit the sitemap_index.xml in the Google search console and wait for Google to crawl the sitemap.

That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

I did all this, but it did not solve the problem

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

ok, I’ve sent you the login

    Hello,

Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.

We wanted to check your website, but it seems that the access you have provided is not working or already expired.

However, can you also make sure that you have already included all the Post types and Taxonomies options in the settings in Rank Math > Sitemap Settings?
    Sitemap Settings

If so, could you please also share some links that are not included in your sitemap using Rank Math (if possible) and update the access link to investigate further?

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

hi, could you please explain to me why the Rank Math sitemap does not update automatically on Google Search Console, and Google does not discover all the links that I have on the website (I have 448 links) but google discover only 325, and it does not read sitemap automatically, I tried another sitemap plugin, It is working fine, and I tried also SEOPress, it is working fine also, I don’t want to go back to another SEO plugin, but this problem makes me sick.

    Hello,

This is happening because Google might be seeing the cached version of your sitemap.

Have you already excluded the sitemap from being cached?
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

If the issue persists, please provide the WP login and FTP details in the sensitive data section so we can investigate further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

yes, I already did that, but nothing chaned

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

I’ve checked the sitemap for your website listed on your account, and it seems that it is already working fine. Could you please remove all the sitemaps you have submitted and resubmit your main sitemap only /sitemap_index.xml then give Google some time to recrawl your site?

If you’re not referring to that site, please share the affected URL as well access in the sensitive Data section to further investigate this issue.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

I think I know the problem, but I don’t know how to solve it, I moved from Yoast SEO, and Yoast creates a sitemap with the name (sitemap_index.xml), it is the same name as Rank Math, that’s why when I submit the new sitemap from Rank Math, it keeps the old one, even if I delete it. because when I tried other sitemap plugins or SEOPress, they create a sitemap with a different name (sitemap-index.xml / or sitemaps.xml) and they work perfectly.I deleted the cache, I did everything, and nothing has changed

    Hello,

The sitemap is supposed to update even in this case. Even without switching plugins, Google should crawl the sitemap constantly. Rank math settings by default are set to ping the search engines when the sitemap is updated.

Would you mind trying this third-party tool to ping Google to recrawl your sitemap: https://technicalseo.com/tools/xml-sitemap/ ?

If this still doesn’t work, I would recommend trying submitting the individual sitemaps to your GSC to see if it works.

Let us know if this helps you.

    Hello,
