Google didnt fully change my website in the search results

    Rank Math free

    Hello,
I used rankmath to do the seo for my website.
I changed the separator for search result titles to a “|” and Google successfully changed it in the search result.
But what google didnt change is, that I set the privacy policy of my page to “no index” and that I added a meta description for that page.
Well obviously, the page meta description wouldn’t be visible if google didn’t show the page in the search results, but the still show the page. See this screenshot: https://ibb.co/JvMDv9L
Why is the page still being indexed but the separator has changed already?
    Best wishes
    Lorenzo

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

If you have recently changed the robots meta of that page to noindex, it may take some time for Google to remove them on the search results page. Unfortunately, there is no exact time when will Google recrawl your site to read the page that is already noindexed.

In case you wanted it to be removed immediately, you can use the page removal tool in your Google Search Console account. This should take about 24-48 hours to remove the URLs upon submitting.
