  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with connecting your Google Search Console account to Rank Math. It sounds like there may be a problem with the connection or the permissions granted to Rank Math.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Account Connection: Ensure that your website is connected to the correct Rank Math account that has a PRO license. You can verify this by logging into your Rank Math account and checking the Websites tab in the My Account area.
      Open the Websites tab

    2. Reconnect Your Account: If your website is not listed, you may need to disconnect and reconnect your account. Go to Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Help and click on Disconnect Account. After that, click Connect Now to reconnect.

    3. Refresh Tokens: If the issue persists, it might be due to expired authorization tokens. You can refresh these by deleting the Rank Math app from your Google Account permissions here and then reconnecting Rank Math to regenerate the tokens.
Remove Access to Rank Math SEO

    4. Enable Analytics Module: Make sure that the Analytics module is enabled in Rank Math. You can do this by going to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO and activating the Analytics module.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you.

    1. Please make sure that you have verified your website on Google Search Console. If not, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/

Also, make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    2. After that, please remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions by following this guideline: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

    3. Once done, reconnect the Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again.

Kindly check all necessary checkboxes to allow Rank Math to access some of the Google Services.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
