Google bot making 5000 requests per day!

    Hello Rankmath

    I have a woocommerce website with around 8000 products. It is around 2 year old. On My website google bot is making around 5000 requests daily! Some requests are to the “feed” url but there are request to other normal url as well as I can check in the access logs.

    Can you please confirm if it is normal for Google bot to make these many requests each day. Some urls are visited multiple time as well.

    How can I diagnose this issue? I have attached some images in the sensitive data section. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Usually, it is not the best idea to block Google bots from your website since they are the ones that crawl your website and add your content to the Google Search results.
