I followed the instructions syncing up Google analytics with Rankmath. The little green circle shows that it’s on. I also have the “install analytics code” slider selected to yes. I’m not getting any data in Google analytics, on either end — everything shows as 0 on the actual Google analytics page and also 0 in Rankmath. I don’t know if it’s something not set up correctly on the google analytics side, or if I did something wrong setting something up in Rankmath. I did some research and it looks like it could be a tagging issue, but I think that should be taken care of with the “install analytics code” slider. I ran Google’s Tag Assistant extension and nothing is firing. Are you able to help? Thanks so much in advance!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
The Analytics tracking code is already added to your website.
(Check screenshot in the sensitive data section)Please open the website in an incognito window and check the page source.
You can search for
UA-in the page source.Hope that helps.
Thank you.
I see, thanks for checking. So that means I have something set up wrong on the Google analytics end, then? All data shows as 0 there as well as in rankmath.
Hello,
Please make sure that you are checking the correct Google Analytics account.
If you have any adblocker, please disable it, log out of your website, then open the link in a new tab and see if the real-time user count increases in Google Analytics.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Yes, I believe I’m logged into the right account. I only have one site. Google analytics shows offbeet-gardener-GA4. I’ve disabled ad blocker, logged out of WordPress and loaded my website in a new tab. Still no data. I’ve also opened my site in an incognito window, still nothing.
Hello,
Can you confirm if you are using Google Analytics 4? In case, if you’re trying to use Google Analytics 4, then you may not find any data available in the Analytics property.
Since Rank Math does not support GA4, the easiest way to fix this is by switching to GA3.
Here is a dedicated tutorial that would help you switch to GA3 and resolve the issue – https://rankmath.com/kb/using-ga4/
Hope this helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you.
I think I already did this and want to make sure before I try it again, I’m afraid of messing something up.
I have 3 properties showing in analytics. the first says offbeet-gardener with “all website data” next to it and a number that starts with a UA. I think that must be some universal property. The next I think is the GA3 property – it doesn’t show anything after the “offbeet-gardener” name other than property number. The next one shows “offbeet-gardener – GA4.” The second property (not the GA4) also shows 0 for all metrics. I hope that makes sense — I wish I could include a screenshot here. Should I still follow the instructions you provided?
Hello,
If you have already selected property on Rank Math’s Analytics settings, that means you have created the correct property version.
The next thing you can do is disconnect and reconnect the Analytics account, to regenerate a new auth token from Google, by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Analytics settings:
This time, ensure all permissions are accepted and all checkboxes are ticked: https://rankmath.com/kb/connect-your-google-account/
After that, please follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/
Let us know if the issue persists after doing all that and we will investigate the issue deeply.
Thank you.
I followed all the instructions and made sure all permission boxes were checked — still showing zeros in Google analytics when I visit my site in an incognito window.
Hello,
I followed a fresh data fetch from Google by following the below-mentioned steps:
1. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Tools & Status and click the ‘Rebuild Index’ button – https://i.rankmath.com/kecLYK
2. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the ‘Delete Data’ button and then click the ‘Update Data Manually’ – https://i.rankmath.com/fvcsbF
3. This started the new data fetch from Google.Post that, the data was successfully fetched on the site as you can see in the below screenshot –
It does seem that the analytics data is very less. In this case, could you please share the screenshot of your organic traffic from the last 30 days from your Google Search Console account? You can use a tool like https://imgbb.com/ and add the link in the sensitive data section so that we can check this further.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I added the image links below, including a screenshot of Google analytics showing zeros across the board.
I did forget to update the data after deleting it in Rankmath, so thanks for figuring that part out. But yes, it does seem like it should be showing more impressions (unless it only imports data from the time I converted to WordPress — I recently had my site migrated from Blogger to WordPress by WPBeginner.com).
My main concern is that actual Google analytics dashboard isn’t showing any data.
Hello,
Thanks for sharing the screenshots of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
I have logged in again to your site, had started afresh data fetch, however, the data still seems to be the same.
Please note that the statistics that appear in the Rank Math Analytics module won’t match with the data from Google Search Console as we only track posts and keywords that rank in the top 100 positions in the selected timeframe.
We do this to help make decision-making easier and for faster data processing since this is the data you really need to prioritize your SEO efforts on.
However, I have also forwarded this issue to our dev team so that they can further investigate this one.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
