google analytics not showing data

    Hi,
    I installed rank math on friday and connected google analytics. However, google analytics is showing no data and when I go to real time tracking it doesn’t show uses of the website. Rankmath is showing that google analytics is connected to the website.
    Is there something else I need to do to get my analytics to show?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you’re not using any other plugin to insert the analytics code to your website then make sure that you have enabled the Install analytics code option in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics.

    This should resolve the issue. Let us know if it doesn’t. We are here to assist.

    Hi,
    I enabled this, but when I save it, it goes back to not being activated (it’s no longer blue). Is this correct behavior?
    I am also having problems on other sites where I connect the google analytics and save it, but when I log back in after the weekend the analytics view is no longer connected.

    If you’ve enabled the option, then it would not automatically get disabled.

    We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    So I seem to have got it working. I needed to make sure there were no other admin windows open for the website and then purge the cache.
    Then it allows me to save the install analytics code.
