Google Analytics Integration Via Rank Math

    I design several websites and of course, Rank Math is my ultimate go-to SEO plugin. On setting up each site I make sure I choose the ‘Install Analytics Code’ option as shown outlined here https://rankmath.com/kb/install-google-analytics/. I thought this option not only adds the tracking code but also automatically adds each newly added site to my Google Analytics account. However, today after logging into my Analytics account I was surprised that none of the sites I ‘added’ via this suggested method made it through into my Google analytics account. The article https://rankmath.com/kb/install-google-analytics/ sadly does not provide further insight as to what I could be doing wrong or if this is not the intended use of the integration. I do not mind adding the sites into GA manually but there are so many of them and it would take me ages to go back and add them all one by one.

    Is there any easier way via Rank Math? Would you kindly advise? Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Rank Math does not add the website to your Analytics account, you need to create the property in your Google Analytics account, then reconnect Rank Math to your Google account by going to Rank Math > General settings > Analytics and reconfigure the settings.

    Please make sure that you create the Universal Analytics property:

    I will be sure to create each property afresh in the Google Analytics account, then reconnect Rank Math to my Google account via the Rank Math general settings tab.
