    Hi

I’ve tried re-opening the ticket ‘Google Analytics GA4’ but I’m not getting any responses so I assume you arent seeing it and though I better open a new one. All the history is in that ticket however, so if you could review that I think it would be helpful and connect these two if thats possible.

Basically following that ticket GA is still telling me GA4 setup is not complete. Can you help?

    Thanks

    Andrew

I’ve gone through the options and now the complete setup button has gone but there is still what looks like an error message or alert as per the attachment here https://imgur.com/qVK2Wqr. I have no idea what I have done your advice to click on learn more just took me right back to what confused the hell out of me in the first place and was why I used your plugin to automate the setup but now out of frustration I’ve just ended up ticking boxes just so that each step shows as complete and hoping I’m doing the right thing.

    Hi Andrew,

I apologize for the lack of response on your previous ticket regarding Google Analytics GA4. I understand your concern about the setup not being complete. To assist you further, please provide me with the necessary details from your previous ticket. This will help me understand the history and context of the issue.

Once I have reviewed the information from your previous ticket, I will do my best to help you complete the GA4 setup successfully. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your patience.

    Thank you,

In my last message yesterday you will see I thought the incomplete setup may have gone however, this morning it seems to be back as you will see from the attached https://imgur.com/y0jtLnG I find the guides impossible to follow and I’ve tried using your pluginto automate the setup but whatever I do just doesn’t seem to do whatever it is Google wants.

Thank you for your help and kind regards

    Andrew

    Hello,

Apologies for the previous reply as she was not from our support staff.

The notification is coming from Google, so we cannot fully remove that using Rank Math. However, that will be removed once the Universal Property stop processing on the said date.

Alternatively, if you’re using Google Chrome, then you can add this extension to remove the notice until the end date of Universal Property:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Do I need to add the addon, does it matter if I leave it as it is with the error notice?

My concern is it says that if I dont complete the setup it wont migrate all my history over to the new GA4 account. Are you saying that everything is set up correctly and complete and that my history will be carried over when my old account is closed and replaced by the GA4 account?

    Hello,

Yes, if you have already finished the migration, then you will no longer see the notification upon accessing your GA4 Property, and the data should be migrated as well. You can also see in the video where the notice still appears when accessing the UA account:
    https://youtu.be/Wa8-TLldfCM?t=278

The notice you see in your Universal Analytics is still there since Google forces users to switch to the GA4 Properties.

Here’s a guide you can check as well:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi Reinelle

I already explained and shared screenshots with you saying I’m still getting the notifcation that setup isnt complete? Is your plugin designed to do the full setup?

I don’t know if and what else I am supposed to be doing. All I know is Google have made this too complicated for me and I was looking for a plugin to take care of it.

    Kind regards

    Andrew

    Hello,

No, this cannot be done by the plugin alone.

Our plugin’s functionality is only limited to fetching data and creating the property via Google’s API. Our plugin doesn’t handle migration so I would suggest contacting the support folks from Google to address the issue further with the notification alert you received.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

Monster Insights seem to say their pluging takes care of everything. I would prefer to keep everything with rankmath though rather than have to seperate SEO plugin sources.

If your advice is to contact Google, please advise how to do that?

I do wonder if the warning has gone though, can you check this screenshot and give me your thoughts https://imgur.com/a/5QJi1n1

    Thanks

    Andrew

    Hello,

You can get in touch with Google Analytics’ support here: https://support.google.com/analytics/

However, looking at the screenshot you have shared, it seems like the warning is no longer there, but only a notice that notifies you that not all the settings from UA will not be automatically imported to GA4. We don’t have the option to set up all the options of your GA4 property.

If MonsterInsights can do that, you can use their plugin to set up all the options of your GA4 property and once it is done, you can switch back to our plugin to install the analytics code and fetch the data.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

Thank you for the advice on contacting Google analytics but from what I can see there is no way to contact them direct unless you are a google ads customer. If you can actually help me contact them directly, that would be very helpful.

I will see if i can contact monster insights as well

    Thanks

    Andrew

    Hello,

All the support from Google is done from their community forums where product experts give their helpful insights into the issues at hand.

There’s no direct contact with Google as they don’t offer technical support other than level-0 support via their documentation.

You can create your own thread in the community forums mentioned above and the community/product experts will assess your request and reply to the best of their knowledge.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

Hi I spoke to Monster Insights and they said to set up dual tracking of UA and GA4 with their plugin and they will automatically transfer everything for me on July 1st. Before I make a decision to move to Monster insights can you confirm if this is something you can do ?

    Kind regards

    Andrew

    Hello,

No, we don’t offer the possibility of merging the data together from the UA and GA4 property.

That is something that not even Google offers, so it must some sort of proprietary solution that Monster Insights have implemented.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
