    Rank Math free

    Hi there,

I’ve created a new property in my Google Analytics but when I try to connect it with Rank Math on my new website. It doesn’t shows any property. How can I fix this or is there any thing that needed to be done beforehand?

  • I’ve had the same problem. I suspect the plugin doesn’t yet support the new Global Tag system that GA recently added. Hopefully this is coming soon…

the same here , i added an property but shows me only the property what i had before.
    now in total 2 property’s
    i am not in ga4

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Let’s try deleting old imported data and start the fresh data fetch. Please follow these steps.

    1. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Tools & Status and click the ‘Rebuild Index’ button https://i.rankmath.com/kecLYK
    2. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the ‘Delete Data’ button and then click the ‘Update Data Manually’ https://i.rankmath.com/fvcsbF
    3. It will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.
    4. Once the process is complete. Please recheck the Analytics page.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

I did try this but the issue is that the analytics accounts I’ve setup are not in the list of accounts to choose from. I’m connecting to google but the new Global Tag accounts do not show.

    Hi guys,

Here is a resolution until the plugin gets an update.

You have to create a universal property just like in the article.

    Thanks this works perfect

    Hello,

    @Mike
Boggess, Rank math currently doesn’t work with the new GA4. GA4 is relatively a new product and is in Beta, & there could be data discrepancies if we were to integrate them into Rank Math. And the fact that their APIs are not yet fully ready for 3rd party integration, there is not much we can do.

However, we will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their V4 API.

In the meantime, you can enable GA v3 by following this:
    create a property
    and then choose
    ga 3

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Thank you Michael, I had figured as much but since it is for a new website it was easy to delete the current stats and setup again as per your instructions. Thank you for responding and I look for to learning more about your product.

    Mike
