I have found this article: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/technical-seo/url-parameter-handling/
Please check “Robots.txt Disallow” solution. I can add this within RankMath. Do you think this is the best solution? What happens if the Google bot only sees url’s with the parameter added? Will the website stay indexed then?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.
I’ve checked your screencast, and it seems that the parameter is changing based on the location of the visitor as you have mentioned.
Please check the “Robots.txt Disallow” solution. I can add this within RankMath. Do you think this is the best solution?
Yes, that would help Google to spend your crawl budget on your website links that are more important than showing the URLs with parameters. In Rank Math, you can add the disallow rule given in the article via editing your robots.txt in Rank Math > General Settings > Edit robots.txt
Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:

What happens if the Google bot only sees URLs with the parameter added? Will the website stay indexed then?
Your website will still be indexed, however, when you let Google or other search engines crawl those URLs with the parameter, your crawl budget might be insufficient to crawl your other important links.
I hope that helps.
Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
