I’ve had a similar question while optimizing one of my projects, and using Service Schema definitely helped search engines better understand individual offerings. In my case, I also combined it with Local Business Schema for the main service pages, which gave a more complete picture and slightly improved local visibility.
From my testing, I noticed that keeping the markup clean and avoiding overstuffing multiple schema types on a single page works best. For instance, when I was working on a project around gaming content, the “Service” type was more relevant than just sticking with “Local Business,” since it described exactly what was being offered.
I’d say go with Service Schema for each dedicated page, and use Local Business only on location-specific landing pages. That way you cover both intent and locality without confusing search engines.
