From Yoast to Rank Math

    Rank Math free

    Hello!
    I have recently installed Rank Math on my test site. Before, I had Yoast plugin in the same site.
    I had set up WordPress with “noindex” on all pages of the site in the general settings of WordPress.
    After installing Rank Math and importing all Yoast settings I noticed that Rank Math added in all pages:
    <meta name = “robots” content = “follow, noindex” />

    Now I am finding both scripts in all the web site pages:
    <meta name = ‘robots’ content = ‘noindex, nofollow’ />
    <meta name = “robots” content = “follow, noindex” />

    I just want this:
    <meta name = ‘robots’ content = ‘noindex, nofollow’ />

    How can I do?
    Thank you very much.
    Regards
    Andrea

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

    Moreover, you should disable Yoast after importing it into Rank Math. Keeping both plugins enabled will inevitably create duplicate SEO tags.

    Do not hesitate to reply to this thread if you have any further questions.

    Thank you
