I recently installed Rank Math and have been on the computer for hours now trying to get all the settings to perfection with the support of YouTube from your current users. It has been great, moving along smoothly until I got to the section “titles and Meta”. After making some changes, when I click on save changes, I get an error message
“Forbidden
You do not have permission to access this document.Web Server at shorttermpropertymanager.co.nz”
Now I’ve spent over an hour trying to troubleshoot this, from deactivating the plugin, to see if I need to whitelist anything, I mean this is driving me nuts, as everything I’m trying to do isn’t saving my settings, and I can’t move forward with it.
any chance i can get support here so i can use your plug in with the settings i want to save

1. Check WordPress Settings for URL Mismatch
Ensure that there isn’t any mismatch in the URLs on your WordPress settings. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General and verify that the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) fields have the same URL. If there is any discrepancy, correct it and save your changes.
2. Verify Admin Account
Make sure you are logged in with an admin account, as only admin accounts have the necessary permissions to access certain settings in Rank Math.
3. ModSecurity Issues
Sometimes, the ModSecurity feature on your hosting server can block requests from plugins like Rank Math. You may need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to temporarily disable ModSecurity to see if that resolves the issue.
4. Firewall Settings
If you have a firewall enabled, it might be blocking access to certain files required by Rank Math. Check if Rank Math is being blocked and whitelist it if necessary. You can refer to the following files that might need whitelisting:
