Follow or not shorten links

    Hi. What I’d like to ask you is that, I add internal links into image but these links are shortened by shorte.st advertisement company. As I know it’s not good (for me) making search bots follow advert links but I want them to follow final destination of that links which is internal pages of my site. Shorte.st works by displaying their ads on a new page and at the same time opening the original destination page of the link, so I want to restrict bots following adverts page but I don’t want to restrict them to follow the original page.
    What setup would you recommend for this?

    You don’t want Google to follow those links since it will find them full of ads so it will set them as low-quality content, impacting your rankings.

    So, if you are using short links with ads, the best option is to set those links as no-follow.
