Please update to the latest version.
1.0.42.2 is the latest release.
Then, try entering the focus keyword. Please make sure to hit the enter or common after you are done typing so that the focus keyword gets saved and appears like a button as in these screenshots:

If it doesn’t work, could you please check which version of PHP you are using? You can check that from WP > Tools > Site Health > Info.
