    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    Could you please confirm if the focus keyword on the URL that you’ve shared is “Referenzkunden-Marketing”? If yes, then I checked the ALT text of the image, whose URL you’ve shared above, and it seems like you’ve added a different ALT text on the image.

    The ALT text that you’ve added is “Kundenbefragung”. Please see this screenshot and confirm it on your end: https://i.rankmath.com/h6vA55

    Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks.

    Hi Prabhat, thanks a lot for your quick reply.

    You are right – the focus keyword is Referenzkunden-Marketing. I went to the media section in WP and chose the photo. There I edited the Alternative Text and description text to Referenzkunden-Marketing. Only the file name is “Kundenbefragung”. Is there something I need to change? Can I send you a screenshot?

    Thanks so much for your help. Best regards, Holger

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I checked the page’s source and the ALT text is not updated. Please add the ALT text by editing the post. Please have a look at this screencast for a quick reference: https://i.rankmath.com/AbxmdA

    Please let us know how that goes.

    Thanks.

    Hi, thanks again for your superfast reply. I use thrive theme, so I did the update on the image ALT text there now. Could you have a look again? Rankmath still tells me to add the focus keyword to the alt tag. Thanks so much, Holger

    It’s like this in the source code:

    <meta property=”og:image” content=”https://amann.de/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Kundenbefragung_250.png”&gt;
    <meta property=”og:image:secure_url” content=”https://amann.de/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Kundenbefragung_250.png”&gt;
    <meta property=”og:image:width” content=”250″>
    <meta property=”og:image:height” content=”260″>
    <meta property=”og:image:alt” content=”Referenzkunden-Marketing”>
    <meta property=”og:image:type” content=”image/png”>

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.

    I’ve checked the image, and it seems that it has already the alt attribute in the page’s source code
    Alt attribute

    In this case, since the alt attribute is already printed on the front end, you can ignore the test as these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously. Please note that these tests are only there for your reference to help you in optimizing your pages/post content. If you feel any of them doesn’t apply to your page, please feel free to ignore them.

    I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

    Hi, sorry but that does not really help. I want “Referenzkunden-Marketing” to be the focus keyword. Do I need to change the file name to finally achieve this? I did already put the changes on the thrive theme alt description & media section of WP. Tnx, Holger

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Could you please confirm if you’ve added the ALT text by editing the Post, as mentioned in my previous reply?

    If yes, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I visited your website and I found that the ALT text of the image is already set to your Focus Keyword “Referenzkunden-Marketing”. Please have a look at this screenshot for a quick reference and confirm it on your end: https://i.rankmath.com/uHHEac

    Please let us know if you need any further assistance, it would be our pleasure to assist you.

    Thanks.

    Thanks, great to hear. Can you just tell me why rankmath still tells me to add the focus keyword as alt text?

    Best, Holger

    Sorry to bother again. There is a second question. RankMath tells me for this respective site, that the content only exists of 242 Words. However there is a lot more content on this site, hidden by accordeon sub-menues. Can you tell me why this is not being counted?

    Tnx, Holger

    Hello,

    Thanks for your response.

    Upon further investigating, I found that your theme is not actually updating the ALT text of the image for the post. It is only populating the ALT text on the runtime.

    Using the Health Check troubleshooting plugin, I activated a default WordPress theme and found that the ALT text of the image was not updated. So I went ahead and set the Focus Keyword of the post as the ALT text of the image, and Rank Math has now detected the same.

    Please see the screencast available in the sensitive data section of this ticket and confirm it on your end.

    Regarding the content length issue, this issue is also related to your theme. The text in accordions that you’ve created is not actually present on the post, they might be getting added using shortcodes.

    When I set the default WordPress theme (using the Health Check plugin), I was unable to find the text of the accordians. You can have a look at the screencast available in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

    Please note that these tests are only there for your reference to help you in optimizing your content. If you feel any of them doesn’t apply, please feel free to ignore them as these tests don’t affect your rankings.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Thanks so much for you detailed feedback. I understood the points you made. Just a final question: is that a genereal issue with the theme itself? Do I need to fix every single issue or new content that is being added in a similar way? I yes – shouldn’t I be using a different theme where all this works automatically? Thanks so much, Holger

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update, and apologies for the delay.

    These tests are only for your reference. If you believe that you have already addressed those tests like the content length and alt attributes, then you can safely ignore it.

    However, there are themes that are already compatible with Rank Math listed in our compatibility link:
    https://rankmath.com/compatible/themes/

    I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

    Hello,
