    Hello,

I’m refering to the issue I reported (with a support ticket) on May 25./26.(depending on the time zone)
    I received a reply on May 28:

    SEO Report of Your Website
    25 Apr 2022 – 25 May 2022
ultimate.thailand-chiang-mai.com FULL REPORT External Link Icon
    Uh-oh

It seems that there are no stats to show right now.

If you can see the site data in your Search Console and Analytics accounts, but not here, then try reconnecting your account and make sure that the correct properties are selected in the Analytics Settings.

I tried but with no success.
Since there was no link for a reply, I replied to Bhanu on May 28:

To me it all seems to be alright.
Screenshot: Google Search Result showing a green tick: URL is on Google, … Coverage: Submitted and indexed, …
Screenshot: (from backend / rank math / Analytics) showing a green dot in front of “Search Console” and “Index Status tab” is enabled.

    Reconnecting didn’t seem to help.
    Any other ideas?

Bhanu wrote back today (May 30), asking me to open a suport ticket…

So this is the new support ticket.

Is there (in my rank math account) any way to review the communication and support tickets, like a history? So far nothing shows there.

    Thank you,

    Yiraf

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    1. Could you confirm if you’re seeing no analytics data under Rank Math > Analytics, as well? If yes, please check if cron jobs are working on your website or not, you can follow this guide to check that: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/#num-2-check-the-cron-job

In order to fetch the data correctly and consistently, you need to have the cron jobs working and enabled in your installation.

If the cron jobs are working, please head over to your WordPress dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending, and check if there is a pending Scheduled Action:
    https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending

If yes, run the rank_math/analytics/data_fetch scheduled action and wait for the data fetch to complete.
    scheduled

You can check the progress at Rank Math > Analytics.

Once the data is fetched, the same should appear in the next email report.

    2. We store all the history of previously created support tickets under your Rank Math account > Support Tickets: https://rankmath.com/my-account/support-tickets/

If you’re not seeing a previously created ticket, it is likely you created that ticket with a different Rank Math account.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

I figured out that I had to create another account within my account (in Google Analytics) and go through a bunch of settings.

It is very confusing, there are several different account types, properties, and differents pages like Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.

Ar least now there is data in Rank Math SEO Analytics, showing a score of 92/100.

But the problem persists: When editing pages, the Focus Keyword seems not to be recognized, just as before.

Btw: Is there a way to upload screenshots?

Oh, I forgot to say, unfortunately none of your recommendations have worked so far (crone jobs, etc). I have tried them all, crone jobs seem to work just fine.

    Hello,

If you wish to share a screenshot, kindly upload it to https://imgbb.com/ and share the URL here.

As for the rest of your issue, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

Please understand, I will not grant you access to the backend of my website (I don’t know you).

    Any other ideas?

I understand that you are offering help (and time) for a free plugin user. I appreciate that very much. But if your plugin is not working properly, I can try another one. But I also have already put quite much time and work into your plugin and connection with Google…

Question: if I de- and then re-install your plugin, might that possibly help?
And would I have to do all the setups and connections again?

    Hello,

I understand that you are not able to provide temporary access to your admin dashboard.

In this case, kindly share the screenshot so we can take a closer look at your issue with your focus keyword. Also, are you using any page builders to create your content? If so, let us know what page builder that is.

It would also be great if you can share a video screencast of the issue so we can try replicating it from our end. You may use this handy tool https://loom.com to do that.

Re-installing the plugin might not help but you can always be free to do so since the settings data of the plugin will not be deleted upon re-installing the plugin. Also, please ensure that your Rank Math plugin is in the latest version.

If the issue persists, please head over to your WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > System Status and click the Copy System Info to Clipboard, and paste it here so we can further analyze the issue.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The first thing to note is that this is an issue in the Analytics module and before proceeding further you need to make sure that you reconnect your account to Google Services by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and clicking the “Reconnect” link.

When the permissions box appears make sure that you accept all the permissions so that the data can be imported.

After that, please check and share the status of the cron jobs by installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/

Also, please share a screenshot of the current pending actions for the website.

To share the screenshots you can use a tool like this one: https://imgbb.com/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi Miguel,

thank you for taking the time.

I have done the reconnection (as recommended) a couple of times already, but to be sure I just did it once more, ticked all boxes…

Also checked again with the cron jobs plugin (which I already did the day before).

It’s the same result: There are no pending actions at all. Should there be any? Or does that show that cron-jobs do work?

The issue might result from my Google Analytics settings, since I don’t really have a clue about that. I tried to follow instructions and common sense but there is space for mistakes, I’m sure.

So I have got a GA4 account and a property set up for this website.

BHut when I go to “home” (in Google Analytics) it says: “No data received from your website yet.
To start collecting data, make sure that your website is tagged using the Measurement ID:G-JVPNYJNGH6”

After I clicked “start tagging” it I was forwarded to “Web Stream Details” where it says: “Data collection isn’t active for your website. If you installed tags more than 48 hours ago, make sure that they are set up correctly.”

So it seems I need to do something there, but it is not obvious to me what and how.

I hope that helps you though to help me…

Sorry I looked at crone events and overlooked scheduled actions. So there are in fact 2 pending actions:

    rank_math/analytics/data_fetch
    Run | Cancel
    Pending rank-math Every 1 week 2022-06-01 14:49:50 +0000
    (4 hours 27 minutes)
    2022-05-25 14:49:50 +0000
    action created

    rank_math/analytics/email_report_event
    Run | Cancel
    Pending rank-math Every 1 month 2022-06-02 00:00:00 +0000
    (13 hours 38 minutes)
    2022-06-01 09:48:56 +0000
    action created

    Hello,

Having those two scheduled actions is a good sign that the issue is not originating from there as those are from the Analytics module.

One to send the email report and the other to fetch the data from Google Search Console.

Assuming that you see data inside that property on Google Search Console the data import should work the next time the action runs, which should happen today, looking at the schedule.

You can also trigger the action rank_math/analytics/data_fetch to run which should create a lot of pending tasks for each day of data to be imported.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you Miguel,

indeed now the list of pending actions is quite long, so now we know that data fetching works after all.

But I don’t understand how this conflicts with the focus keyword not being recognizes (editing pages). The same original problem is unchanged.

When I type any word or phrase into the focus keyword field (at the bottom of the page), right under “edit snippet”, nothing seems to happen. And the inserted words disappear after saving or reloading the page. In the box on the right side though (above content AI) the inserted focus keyword is shown, but obviously has no effect.

I’ve put it everywhere: Title, headline, beginning of content, several images, seo title and seo description, but I get these results:

    Basic SEO
    4 Errors
Add Focus Keyword to the SEO title.
Add Focus Keyword to your SEO Meta Description.
Use Focus Keyword at the beginning of your content.
Use Focus Keyword in the content.
Content is 79 words long. Good job!

    Additional
    4 Errors
Use Focus Keyword in subheading(s) like H2, H3, H4, etc..
Add an image with your Focus Keyword as alt text.
Keyword Density is 0. Aim for around 1% Keyword Density.
You are linking to other resources on your website which is great.
Set a Focus Keyword for this content.
You are using Content AI to optimise this Page.

    Hello,

That issue is likely related to the firewall or any security plugin blocking access to the REST API route used to save the metadata.

The following tutorial has more information on this and things to check: https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hi Miguel,

I tried the plugin conflict / troubleshooting tool (health check): My theme of choice “Blocksy” (which I read should work fine with Rank Math) and all plugins deactivated, except for Rank Math and I activated storefront and after that twenty twenty – the issue remained the same.

I tried “define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true);” … – the issue remeined the same.

I already lost hope but tried a couple more suggestiopns from your linked website.

Then I checked all settings in my browser (Iridium), java script was on, and I tried several changes but nothing helped. I’m using this Iridium browser for my websites for years and never had any issue, so that was the least I expected.

But when I tried editing in Firefox and Brave, everything worked fine!

This is it, it’s the browser. God and Buddha know why all of a sudden it caused this problem.

Thank you so much for leading me the way.

Now, of course I could “simply” change the browser, but I have my tasks and interests separated onto different browsers: Iridium for my website and hobbies, another for news, another one for personal affairs (banking etc.).

If there is any chance to figure out how to make it work again with Iridium, I would be very happy.
Do you have any tips or recommendation for me what I need to look for in the browser settings. Or can you make a good guess what the issue might be?

If not, I will have to change…
Anyways thank you very much for your help!

    Yiraf
