Hello, I added a Focus Keyword to my home page – I then added the same focus keyword to another page because it fit better, and went back to change the Home page focus keyword. Everything is fine on the Home Page focus keyword, but the second page it telling me that I “have already used this Focus Keyword”

    How do I resolve this?

  • Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with the focus keyword. In Rank Math, each focus keyword can only be used once across your entire site to avoid keyword cannibalization and to ensure that each page is optimized for its unique keyword.

To resolve this issue, you will need to choose a different focus keyword for the second page. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Go to the page where you want to change the focus keyword.
    2. In the Rank Math meta box, remove the existing focus keyword.
    3. Add a new, unique focus keyword that fits the content of that page.
