    Liebes Rankmath-Team,

    auf einer WordPress-Webseite wird wiederholt dieser Fehler ausgeworfen (per E-Mail):
    “Ein Fehler vom Typ E_PARSE wurde in der Zeile 150 der Datei /httpdocs/blog/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/modules/sitemap/providers/class-taxonomy.php verursacht. Fehlermeldung: syntax error, unexpected ‘)'”

    Was kann man hier tun, um den Fehler zu beheben?

    This error occurs due to the current PHP version of your site.

    We recommend updating to at least PHP version 8.0 because anything below that has reached its end of life: https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php

    If you are not familiar with upgrading the PHP version of your site, you can ask for assistance from your hosting company as they will be able to update that which will sort out the issue.
