  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Since they are not getting indexed by default, blocking them through robots.txt should not affect your website’s SEO and instead help your site to not waste your crawl budget for the /feed URLs.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

I won’t block the /feed urls in the robots.txt, rather I will disable them with Disable Everything plugin which will do 301 redirect to each post page. Can that have an SEO issue on my website? Will disabling the /feed URLs save the crawl budget or I have to block them in the robots.txt file to save crawl budget?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello,

No, it would not cause any issues even if you 301 redirect them.

As long as your normal posts are working fine, your website should not be harmed as that kind of URL is ignored by search engines and doesn’t hold any SEO value.

Also, either blocking or redirecting them should help you save your website’s crawl budget.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Thanks. My problem is resolved.
