1. Check if the Image is Set Correctly

Make sure that you have added the Facebook/Twitter sharing images through the Rank Math Meta Box. You can do this by checking the settings in the social media preview section of your posts.

2. Verify Image Dimensions & Format

Ensure that the image you are using meets the recommended dimensions and format:

• Recommended Size: 1200px X 630px
• Supported Formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP (AVIF is also supported but may not be recognized by all platforms)

If your image does not meet these criteria, it may not display correctly on social media.

3. Check Open Graph Tags in Source Code

Use a tool like the Facebook Sharing Debugger to check if the og:image tag is present in your page’s source code. If it is found towards the end of the source code, it may not be detected properly by social networks.

4. Gzip Compression Issues

If you have gzip compression enabled in your caching plugin, it may interfere with how Facebook detects Open Graph tags. Try disabling it and then clear your website and server cache.

5. Scrape Again

After making these changes, go back to the Facebook Sharing Debugger and click on Scrape Again to refresh the data.
