    Hi

It would be great with an option to switch how the content analyser works for instances where it is not compatible with other plugins (acf for example). As I understand it, the only option now is to do a manual integration with the content analyser api in RankMath.

An option to make the content analyser analyse the output of the post (the actual html-output at the permalink) instead of whats in the editor would make it possible to still use the the content analysis when using incompatible plugins.

    Does this make sense?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Yes this makes sense, the only problem being that the analysis would take place after the post is published. I am happy to pass this on to our dev team for consideration and we will be getting back to you shortly.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Yeah, there would definitely be some drawbacks. But still, better than not being able to use it at all 🙂

    Hello,

Please know that it is not as simple as that.

We are trying our best to make the content analysis work on ALL themes and plugins.

We just released an update last night that makes it possible for Rank Math to read ACF content. So, your ACF will be fully readable by Rank Math.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thats even better 🙂

I tried installing the newest update (1.0.33) but it still doesnt seem to work.

Are there limitations to what fields it can read? In my case different types of content is added with flexible content fields. Some of these flexible content fields in turn contain another layer of flexible content fields which holdes the actual content.

The acf-fields are nested so to speak. Could that be a problem?

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I have been able to replicate the problem with nested field on my end and this has been submitted to our developers for closer investigation.

We will be getting back to you in a short while. Thank you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us.

We are checking this issue and we will be in touch shortly.

Thank you for your continued patience.

    Hello,

Sorry for not following up quickly and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The ACF module was not active on your site due to which the Custom fields analysis was not working. I enabled the ACF module, the content analysis is now detecting the ACF fields content.

But it’s still not perfect. When classic editor plugin is active the analysis is not detecting the ACF fields content when the page is loaded, it is working only when we change some ACF fields content or when we click on the Focus keywords. Please see the screencast I added in the Sensitive Data Section.

Can you please add your site’s FTP access in the Sensitive Data Section so we can check if any errors are logged in the debug.log file?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
