Feature Request – Redirection “lock” feature

#999749
  • Hello. It would be useful to be able to “lock” a redirection to prevent accidental deletion, requiring that the user first unlock the redirection before it can be removed. This is useful in cases where a redirection might be applied as a vanity URL, which are permanent, as opposed to regular page redirects which might be deleted after a period of time. The lock feature would prevent inadvertent deletion by a user and clearly distinguish the vanity URL from a regular redirect.

Thank you for raising this concern. We understand how a "lock" feature for redirections could be beneficial in preventing accidental deletions, especially for important vanity URLs. Your suggestion is valuable, and we appreciate your input on enhancing the functionality of our Redirection Manager.

While we currently do not have a locking feature in place, we will certainly take your feedback into consideration for future updates. If you have any more ideas or need assistance with anything else, feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent will assist you further.
