Please note that Rank Math doesn’t control how the favicon will be applied on the SERP so ensure that you have correctly added the favicon to your website.
The icon should be added as a favicon.ico file and then you must have something like this in the <head> section of your header.php.
<link rel=“shortcut icon” href=“https://example.com/favicon.ico” />
If your theme provides an option to add a favicon, please contact them to see if the favicon is correctly being added per Google’s standards.
Please also note that after you have done updating your favicon it takes some time for Google to re-crawl your website.

My favicon was alright and it was showing in SERP but now it just disappeared. My hosting provider said it’s because of rank math auto update enable feature. My dimensions are correct and everything else as well. If they were wrong then why it was showing previously in SERP

Our plugin is not responsible for the favicon and if the hosting provider advises you that our auto-update feature did this then they advised you incorrectly.
The favicon is usually controlled by the theme provider and there’s nothing we can do to change this situation.
