Favicon

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we apologize for the trouble you’re having with your favicon. A favicon is a small icon that appears next to your website’s name in the browser tab, bookmarks, search results, etc. It helps your site stand out and look more professional.

Changing your favicon depends on your theme but you’ll mostly need to go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity > Site Icon. There you can upload a new image to use for your site icon.

However, we’re not sure what you mean by the old image showing up when you share your site. Can you please send us a screenshot of where you see the old image? This will help us understand the issue better and provide you with the best solution. That said, if you’re referring to the image that shows up when you share your site on social media, then you can change that from Rank Math > Title & Meta > Global Meta > OpenGraph Thumbnail.
