    Rank Math free

    Hello Rank Math,

    We are currently developing our website and we use your free plugin just for breadcrumbs feature because it meets what we need to have on our simple website.

    We use Elementor for designing the website together along with other plugins.
    We are currently facing a fatal error white screen, since yesterday. We contacted Elementor with this problem, they told us to turn off and on the plug-ins that we use and found out that whenever we turn on Rank math, it shows white screen on front end.

    We were on Rank Math SEO Version: 1.0.228 up until this morning, then we tried to update it because it might be the solution. We updated to 1.0.230 for hopes that it might be the answer. But it still gave us white screen. Then I thought of updating Elementor too because it might be version issues. But still after updating, it is still showing the white screen error on the front end.

    We are happy with your plug-in and hope to fix this.

    Hoping to hear an advise.

    Thank you,
    Anne

  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with the fatal error and the white screen on your website. This can be frustrating, especially when you are in the development phase.

    The white screen issue you are experiencing when activating Rank Math is often related to a conflict with other plugins or themes, or it could be due to a problem with the Action Scheduler, which is used by Rank Math.

    Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Check for Fatal Errors: Enable debugging in WordPress to see if any specific error messages are being logged. You can do this by adding the following lines to your wp-config.php file:

      define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
      define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
      define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );

      After enabling this, check the wp-content/debug.log file for any errors related to Rank Math.

    2. Repair Action Scheduler: If the error is related to the Action Scheduler, you can use our Repair Action Scheduler plugin to fix it automatically. This plugin can help create any missing tables that Rank Math needs to function properly.

    3. Deactivate Other Plugins: Temporarily deactivate all other plugins except for Rank Math and Elementor to see if the issue persists. If the white screen goes away, reactivate each plugin one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict.

    4. Theme Conflict: Switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) to check if your current theme is causing the issue.

    5. Clear Cache: If you have any caching plugins or server-side caching, clear all caches after making changes.

    6. Reinstall Rank Math: Sometimes, reinstalling the plugin can resolve issues caused by corrupted files. You can delete Rank Math and then reinstall it from the WordPress repository.

    If you follow these steps and still encounter issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

    Thank you for your patience, and we hope to help you resolve this soon!
