Fatal error: Allowed memory size exhausted when Rank Math is enabled

    Hi, I have a wordpress website with Elementor, WooCommerce, WPML and RankMath… so it’s not a “light” website.

    Anyway, I have “Memory limit: 768M” but when Rank Math is enabled I still got “Fatal error: Allowed memory size exhausted” and the site does not works. When Rank Math is disabled, I got no errors and website works.

    Can you please help me understand and fix this error?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. Iā€™m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    We have already identified these issues as a bug with our previous version v1.0.201.

    However, we have released a quick update v1.0.201.1 you can download as it has already a fix for these issues:
    https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/

    Let us know if the issue still persists upon installing the latest version.

    Hi, thank you for youyr quick reply.

    I’ve updated Rank Math to the latest version (1.0.201.1) but I still got the same error when Rank Math is enabled šŸ™

    Are there other things I can check?

    Hello,

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    It looks like your website admin is throwing a few non-Rank Math-related errors. We’d suggest you investigate that first.

    Also, regarding the error with activating Rank Math, have you tried checking for plugin conflicts? i.e. activating Rank Math with no other plugin active? Please give that a try and let us know the outcome.

    Ok, I’ve made some more tests by deactivating one plugins one by one and it seems my website broke when Rank Math and WPML String Translations are both enabled.

    Now, I’ve tried some WPML “maintenance actions” like “Cleanup and Optimize string tables” and it seems the isse is now fixed… at least, I hope.

    So, in the end it was a conflict between Rank Math and WPML, I guess some broken strings or something like that. Maybe you’ve experienced this issue in some other cases? There are further actions to verify that everything’s working as it should?
