FAQ Schema – double content

    Hi,
I used today for the 1st time the FAQ schema block on Gutenberg.
Some of the questions are exact parts of the body of the article. For example: “What is meant by machinability?”
This creates a situation where the same content appears twice on the page which is not so good. I expected the “hide question” button to hide the question from the page but keep the schema code intact. When I checked the source I saw it is totally omitted.

How do you recommend treating this situation?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The duplicate content issue is when two or more pages are present with the same content. Explaining the same topic on the same page is not considered duplicate content.

Also, duplicate content is not a negative ranking factor according to Google.

So there’s nothing to be worried about. You can safely include the content as they’re currently present.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
