Sorry to disappoint, but at this point, the new Schema blocks, FAQ & HowTo, could only be added using the new Block, aka Gutenberg editor.
You can, however, use the following method to add the new blocks inside Elementor:
1. Create a new post/page using the Block Editor and add the HowTo or FAQ block inside the content.
2. Save the post and continue making rest of the changes using Elementor.
If you already have a post or page that you want to edit and add the HowTo or FAQ Schema, please do the following:
1. Edit the post using the Elementor editor and the HowTo or the FAQ blocks in the Elementor editor using any of the available widgets.
2. Head back to Gutenberg and add a HowTo or FAQ Block.
3. Feel free to change back to Elementor and continue adding more elements to the page using the Elementor editor and publish the post/page.
Your newly published post/page will have the Schema Markup coming from the Rank Math plugin and the styling from the Elementor editor.
This is a bit cumbersome process, but it is the only way out at this time.
I hope that helps.
Also, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Thank you.
Hey,
I’m not exactly sure what you mean by editing in Gutenberg as we use Elementor and create FAQs in the WordPress editor as per your suggestions. The issue is that once we publish the post and create the faqs in the Wp editor and index the pages it’s all fine – Till we decide to add a change for the post in Elementor (let’s say adding a space because it looks better) and click ‘update’. The Faq schema just disappears from the post altogether, and all our work is lost, its not showing in the Wp editor or in pages source code.
So every time we decide to update the post, we lose the FAQs created, not to mention that we have to check it in the WP editor (which is inconvenient).
My question is, is this normal and happens all the time, or this is just a bug and only on our site. Because if that happens, then you should not say that FAQs work with Elementor, as updating the post is a normal daily routine for me, and I don’t want to be concerned of losing the FAQ data every time i click ‘update’.
Don’t take me wrong I like your SEO side of the plug-in, and I will use it, but FAQs either need to be fixed or we will have to find another plug-in to work with elementor as we lost our work 3 times in past two days.
Can you please log-in to our site, and see it for yourself.
– Create a post in elementor
– Add FAQs in the WP editor, save, publish, check the source code.
– Then edit the post in elementor, maybe add some extra paragraph then save.
– check if the FAQ is there after… my guess it will not be π
My self and my team tried it a number of times and the data just disappears. Please let me know this is something you can fix.
Thank you
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
I have been able to replicate the problem on your site but it looks like you have another schema plugin installed(Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP) that is disabling the Rank Math schema on your pages.
If it is an option I can suggest that you disable this plugin to be able to use the Rank Math schema on your pages since it is not recommended to run more than a single schema plugin on the same site.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Hi,
The problem started before the plug-in was re-installed. We had to do it so we can save the information that we lost.
I disabled the plugin and the problem still persist.
Please check again,
Hello,

Yes, this is an issue. You should add the FAQ as the first or last thing when using Elementor. If you make changes, you will lose the FAQ.
Please do note that the FAQ Block is only available for Block Editor. As I mentioned, it might work with Elementor but you have to follow the exact process like we shared. If it is a hassle, you can skip Rank Math’s FAQ and use some other plugin for that or even some custom Schema generated code.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thank you for clarifying this, I hope in the future updates this would be fixed.
Your plug-in is great and I would like to use the FAQ’s with it too at some point.
Hi there,
