FAQ Block Image Align

    Hi,

    When I use FAQ block in WordPress, it automatically adds FAQ images a class “alignright”, which aligns them right.
    .alignright {
    gloat: right;
    margin-left: 1.5em
    }

    It does not only look horrible when I use a large image, the float makes the image overflow what comes after if the text is short.

    This is what it looks like in the editor (as you can see, the second image doesn’t even show up):

    I know I could fix it with custom CSS, but this just looks like sloppy coding that could easily be avoided.

    Any other solutions?

    Anyone?

    Any update?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. Iā€™m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    It seems that this ticket was stuck in our drafts section for some reason. However, could you please share the affected URL to check further?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    I created a dummy page. You can find it on this link: https://www.photutorial.com/dummy-page/

    Currently, it has some custom CSS, but if you disable my custom css, you get this:
    https://prnt.sc/1ie4k15

    And this is what I see directly from the editor (notice that the small image doesn’t show):
    https://prnt.sc/1ie4mep

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience and for the additional information.

    We have tried disabling the CSS applied to the image, but we’re unable to replicate the first screenshot you shared. Here’s a screencast for your reference:

    Did you apply CSS to some other elements of FAQ Blocks as well (aside from the image)?

    However, you can apply the custom CSS you are using in your theme options (Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS) to fix this issue since the align-right CSS is applied to the FAQ Blocks images by default for the thumbnail option.

    For your second screenshot, could you please check the editor page if there are any browser console errors showing?

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Regarding the issue with the layout: I easily solved it with a couple of lines of CSS, I just wanted to let you know that “float” is not the best option here as it creates overlapping.

    The second issue: No, there are no errors in the console log and there doesn’t seem to be a conflict with any plugin or caching.
