Hi Rank Math team,
I’ve encountered a recurring issue related to the focus keyword and URL analysis when using non-Latin languages such as Persian (Farsi).
Here’s the situation:
My WordPress site language is set to Persian.
For better SEO and readability, I use English slugs in URLs (e.g., /contact) while keeping titles and focus keywords in Persian (e.g., “تماس”).
However, Rank Math shows a warning that the focus keyword doesn’t appear in the URL, even though this practice (using English slugs) is common and recommended for multilingual and non-Latin websites to avoid encoded URLs and compatibility issues.
This results in a false positive that affects the overall SEO score in Rank Math, even though the actual SEO practice is valid and often preferred.
It would be great if you could consider adding an exception or improved detection logic for such cases — where the site language is non-Latin and the slug is intentionally in English.
Please let me know if there’s a workaround, or if this can be improved in a future update.
Thanks a lot for your support!
Best regards,
EbrahimJafari
