    Hello,
I have already connected my site to both Bing Webmaster and Google Search Console. Do I still need to enter those verification HTML codes or IDs into Rankmath Webmaster Tools to achieve the best SEO results?

If yes, how can I find my code or ID since I have verified my site already and no more code/ID was provided?

    Thank you
    Jason

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you’re facing. Even if you have connected your site to Bing Webmaster and Google Search Console, it’s still important to enter the verification HTML codes or IDs into Rank Math Webmaster Tools to achieve the best SEO results.

To find the verification HTML codes or IDs, you can follow these steps:

    1. For Bing Webmaster Tools:

      • Head over to Settings → API Access → API Key inside your Bing Webmaster Tools account and click the Copy button to get the API key.
      • Then, in your WordPress admin area, navigate to Rank Math SEO → Instant Indexing, and under the Settings tab, add the Bing API Key and click the Save Changes button.
    2. For Google Search Console:

      • Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Webmaster Tools and paste the copied code in the Google Search Console field.

If you’re unable to find the verification HTML codes or IDs, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you further.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the prompt response.
I still have questions on this.
    1. For Bing Webmaster Tools: there is a key existing in the API under the setting tab of Instantindexing. Should I replace it with the one I copied from the Bing webmaster tools?

    2. For Google Search Console: should I enter the API key generated from the Bing webmaster tools? I failed to find the API key on the Google Search Console.

    Kind regards
    Jason

    Hello,

    1. No, the Instant indexing API is different from the verification code you get from the Bing webmaster tool.

    2. No, it will not be verified properly since Bing and Google are different platforms. You’ll have to copy the verification code from Bing to the correct settings, same goes for Google.

For more detailed guide about it, please refer to these KB links:

However, you have mentioned that you already connected your site to your Bing and Google. If you already verified your site using a different method, there’s no need to perform the same verification method using Rank Math.

    Looking forward to helping you.
