Facebook image not showing

    Hi,

    I have a common issue (common as I see other people have had it) with my Facebook image not being displayed.

    example: Inferred Property
    The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    Missing Properties
    The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

    NOTE: you may see an error regarding the SSL certificate, but that was there in the past too and the previews were showing. I do have an SSL certificate, just that it is set for my entire domain, and my travel blog (from where the link above is) is a subdomain. So it has a SLL certificate as it can be easily checked.

    I also mention that I’ve set the details in the Rank Math – Social tab and the preview there looks ok. However, when debugging or scrapping, again and again, the image is not showing on Facebook.

    There are duplicate meta tags on your page that could be causing this error as shown below:

    Please try to isolate the plugin that is adding the extra OpenGragh tags and dsiable it.

    Hi Michael,

    thank you for the reply. Indeed, I had the opengraph plugin for twitter and facebok cards.

    I deactivated it, rescraped, debugged, but still no image appears on Facebook.

    Do you have another idea of what may not work well? I really like the plugin (RankMath)

    We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hi,

    I am sorry but this is the issue I am seeing:

    Please contact your web host and ask them to fix this issue.

    As far as the OG tags are concerned, they are added properly to your posts by Rank Math.

    You can confirm that this is not caused by Rank Math by installing any other OG tags plugin temporarily and see if the issue goes away.
